Mill puzzles
Mill puzzles start from positions taken out of real games. The easy and medium ones ask you to close a mill in exactly two or three moves against every defence, in the placement or the sliding phase; the hard ones ask for the whole game.

Easy
#1–14 · Look first for points where you already have two men on a line with the third point empty, then ask which of them the opponent can cover in one move.
Medium
#15–27 · Three-move mills usually need a quiet first move that builds two separate threats; check what the opponent can close in reply before you commit.
Hard
#28–40 · In the winning endings the opponent is short of men or of room. Count their legal moves after each of yours: taking away the last free point wins as surely as taking a man.
