Frosted Board is a small collection of classic two-player board games you can play in the browser against the computer or with someone next to you: reversi, four in a row, mill in three sizes, dots and boxes, draughts with English and Italian rules, and five in a row.

The computer opponent runs entirely on your device. It has four levels, from a beginner that misses tactics to a master that searches as deep as its time allows and plays the endings of several games exactly. Nothing you play is sent anywhere.

The puzzles are built from real positions and checked before they appear: for each one the engine proved that the goal can be forced against every defence and that exactly one first move does it. The daily puzzles follow the date, so everyone gets the same ones on the same day.

The site has no adverts, no accounts and no tracking. If you find a rule that looks wrong, a puzzle that seems broken or a translation that reads oddly, please write to us.
